Bristow began operations in Australia in 1967 and is now the largest provider of helicopter transportation and maintenance services to the oil and gas industry in Australia. Bristow currently supports oil and gas exploration and production in the North West Shelf, Browse and Carnarvon basins of Western Australia and the Bass Straits in Victoria. Bristow also provides airport management services on Barrow Island. Headquartered in Perth, Bristow operates five bases in Western Australia, one in Victoria and one in Queensland with more than 370 employees.
