North America Business Unit
Bristow has operated in North America for more than 50 years and primarily provides crew transport services by helicopter to offshore drilling rigs and production platforms in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Bristow also supports offshore and onshore oil and gas exploration and pipeline operations on the North Slope and in the Cook Inlet of Alaska. Clients consist mostly of international, independent and major integrated oil and gas companies. Bristow has seven helicopter transportation service bases in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, six in Louisiana and one in Texas, and three helicopter transportation service operating facilities in Alaska, with more than 570 total employees. Prior to 2010, Bristow operated as Air Logistics in North America.
