Engineering Training

Bristow is an EASA Part 147 approved maintenance training organisation. Civil and military clients have taken advantage of Bristow's exceptional training capabilities in the field of aviation engineering.

EASA Part 147 Type Training

Bristow has EASA Part 147 approvals to train engineers on the following aircraft types:

Bristow offer theoretical and practical training for the AS332L/L1 and S76C and theoretical training for the S61.

Course lengths vary from 2 to 6 weeks.

EASA Part 145 Type Training

Any aspect of Bristow's training can be modified precisely to suit client's needs. Bristow also provides EASA Part 145 Human Factors training to meet the requirements of ICAO, EASA and the UK CAA, this course is called Maintenance Resource Management (MRM). Bristow also provides Continuation Training and/or Type Refresher training to meet the requirements of EASA Part 145.

HUMS/VHM Training

Bristow is a world leader in the installation and use of Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), in fact we helped develop the first system, IHUMS, in the early 1990s. Since this time other systems have been developed and fitted to our aircraft. This means that Bristow have extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of HUMS.

Bristow can train pilots, engineers and other personnel on various Health and Usage Monitoring Systems as fitted to various aircraft types. The following table gives additional details:

Bristow employs 3 full time instructors, who are EASA/UK CAA Authorised Examiners, with an average of 30 years of training and operational experience.
