Pinpoint Positioning: Bristow Adds Global Tracking for Advanced Operations Support

Need to know the exact location of your inbound AW189 to Galliano to make the next crew change as efficient as possible? Bristow has you covered by rolling out its most sophisticated tracking system yet to provide real-time aircraft visibility.

With the introduction of web-based eFlight Global Tracking (GT), both Bristow and its clients can visualize the position of Bristow aircraft at any time on an interactive map using real-time satellite tracking signals. eFlight GT also has the capability to be customized for each user.

"We now have the ability to give our clients access to operational information," says Flight Following Supervisor James Dickens in the New Iberia Flight Operations Center. “eFlight GT provides real-time tracking information and data that can be used to improve safety, guide business decisions and provide other value-added services.”

Building the eFlight platform

The implementation of Global Tracking represents the next phase in building eFlight, the global operations platform Bristow initially launched in 2013. The eFlight program encompasses pre-flight, flight, post-flight and resource management components to transform how Bristow delivers information and improves operations around the world. After the initial rollout in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and U.K. SAR, eFlight GT will become available in other regions over time. If you are interested in this new feature, contact your regional account manager, who will help you gain access to the secured site and can also answer any questions you may have.

You can also launch eFlight GT on the Bristow website.
